Meanwhile, Abubakar, who spoke to eyeonthenews.com, thanked Allah for the success of his daughter’s wedding, saying “I’m happy for Nafisat, she is a very good lady, who is hardworking and respectful. However, the emotional aspect of it is that we raised her from childhood up to 20 years plus, and it is painful that Nafisat has to go now that she is used to the family. All the same, we wish her well in her new home”.
BATECDA President, Kyari was elated about the presence and contribution of his Club members to the success of the wedding.
“It is heartwarming to see our members ralling round Abubakar on Saturday. This is the first time our member is holding a wedding for his child in our premises. Our coming together to support him and his family showed that we share common love and I hope this bond makes us stronger”, Kyari told this newspaper.
