Uzoenyi In Advanced Talks With Pirates

Latest reports say African Nations Championship, CHAN, Most Valuable Player, MVP, Ejike Uzoenyi is in advanced talks with Orlando Pirates Football Club Of South Africa.
Uzoenyi, according to a report monitored on brila fm early Tuesday, has had a successful preliminary discussions with the management of Pirates, and he may have signed to play for the top South African club soon.
It would be recalled that Uzoenyi, a player of Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL club, Rangers International of Enugu, won ‘Match Of The Match’ award trice to emerge the MVP of the tourney held in South Africa recently.
Meanwhile, two other Nigeria players from the 2014 CHAN squad, Azubuike Egwuekwe and Solomon Kwambe, are also on the verge of securing deals with South Africa teams.
The trio did not return with rest of the squad on Sunday night when they arrived in Lagos from South Africa, where the Super Eagles defeated Zimbabwe 1-0 in the third place match to win a bronze medal.
The Eagles, led by Coach Stephen Keshi are expected to jet out of Lagos to Abuja on Tuesday for a reception to be organised by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF and National Sports Commission, NSC.
