United May Replace Van Persie With Kane

Manchester United have contacted Tottenham over a possible transfer for England striker Harry Kane as Robin van Persie nears a move to Fenerbahce.

It was gathered that the Red Devils will be needing a new striker this summer, though, as current front-man Robin van Persie has agreed a deal to sign for Turkish side Fenerbahce, say The Observer.

They claim that Van Persie’s agent, Kees Vos, has been in Istanbul for the last few days to thrash out personal terms on a four-year deal.

The two clubs are yet to agree a fee for the 31-year-old Dutchman but negotiations are ongoing.
