U-23 Eagles Land In Gabon For All Africa Games Qualifier

The delegation of U-23 National Team of Nigeria landed at the Leon Mba International Airport, Libreville minutes after noon on Thursday, for Saturday’s 11th All-Africa Games qualifying match against their Gabonese counterparts.
The delegation, led by NFF’s Director of Technical, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme, arrived on an Ethiopia Airline flight from Addis Ababa, and is quartered at Hotel Boulevard in the Gabonese capital.
Players and officials were received on arrival by the Head of Chancery in the Embassy of Nigeria, Mrs. Cecilia Eteng, the public relations officer of the Nigeria Community in Gabon, Hon. Myke Iwu and some members of the Nigeria Community and the Nigeria Football Supporters Club.
The team are expected to have a feel of the match venue, Stade Augustin Monedan a Sibang, on Friday.
Saturday’s match will start at 3.30pm Gabonese time. Member of the NFF Executive Committee, Barrister Chris Green, will join the delegation on Friday.
