
Lagos darling team, Stationery Stores will tango with Remo Stars when the Nigeria National League, NNL, which was halted a forth night ago to allow for the determination of all the cases before the Disciplinary and Organizing Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, resume next week.
The Week 26 rescheduled cracker will hold at the Onikan Waterfront, while the other clubs would also be on duty. Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC will host MFM FC in Ibadan, while Gateway and Ekiti United will do battle in Ogun State. Wikki Tourists will also host Sokoto United.
The NNL had stopped the competition to ensure that all the cases filed by different clubs are decided to ensure equity, to avoid any issues at the end of the competition and to give a level playing field to all the participating teams.
However, the NNL Chairman, High Chief Emeka Inyama has revealed that the league will resume next weekend after all the various protest cases filed by different clubs may have been dispensed off by the NFF Disciplinary Committee.
He has assured that the remaining crucial three matches will be monitored to avoid giving an undue advantage to any club.
Consequently, the outstanding Week 26 match and Weeks 29 and 30 season-ending matches respectively will now be played week after week to ensure that there will not be issues at the end of the competition.
Inyama therefore thanked all the clubs for their understanding during the NFF crises and promised them that the NNL will not leave anything to chance to make the league very open for the teams till end of the season.
