The Nigeria National League and Nigeria Premier League fixtures are put off this weekend to honour State Federation Cup finals across Nigeria.
While finalists have emerged in some States, the other States are yet to play their semi finals matches which will guarantee finalists for Sundays’ concurrent finals holding across the country.
In Port Harcourt, it is going to be a repeat of last year’s edition as Sharks whipped Commonwealth by five unreplied goals to set up a final match with Rivers State old rivals, Dolphins who also defeated Eleme United 3-1.
In Abia, Enyimba defeated Arinze to set up a final showdown against Abia Warriors who managed to beat Abia Comets 1-0.
The clash in Osun State will see 2012 winners, Prime FC of Oshogbo, who spelled Orolu with 5-0, will trade tackles with Ajiroba Ooni who also defeated Ilesha-West 4-2 via penalty kicks after both teams played 2-2 in regulation time.
The Kwara State final features rivals, Kwara United and Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS. The Afonja Warriors defeated Offa 4-0 while ABS beat Kwara Feeders 2-1 in the last four matches.
