
The remains of late Godwin Spiff-Sagbama will be committed to mother earth on Saturday, 20 December, 2014, in his hometown, Igbide, Isoko South Local Government Area in Delta State.
Late Sagbama who was the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of Hally Sports died on 30 September, 2014 at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja.
According to burial arrangements made available to Lagos SWAN Secretariat, his body departed Lagos on Saturday, 13 December, 2014 for his hometown, Igbide in Isoko South of Delta State.
A service of Songs and Candle Light Procession will be organised in his honour by the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Lagos State Chapter, on Wednesday, 17 December, 2014 at the Lagos SWAN Secretariat, National Stadium, Lagos from 5pm.
“All members of Lagos SWAN are enjoined to attend the Candle Light Procession and Service of Songs to accord our departed colleague and friend the last respect before his final journey to mother earth”, a statement from SWAN said. May His soul rest in peace.
