The Nigerian Senate says it will continue with the ministerial nominees screening on Tuesday, 20 October, 2015, eyeonthenews.com reports.
Dino Melaye, Spokesperson of the upper legislative chamber on Thursday, 15 October, disclosed that eight of the remaining 16 nominees would be screened next Tuesday, while the last eight would be screened the following day (Wednesday), 21 October.
This means former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi and the remaining nominees yet uncleared would have their turns next week.
It would be recalled that former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, former Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, Chris Ngigi and 15 others were confirmed as ministers after they were screened and cleared on Wednesday, 14 October.
