Rabiu Ali of Kano Pillars on Wednesday 20 November, 2013, emerged the Nigeria Premier League, NPL Player of the season at the League Bloggers Awards held at Sheraton Hotels in Ikeja, Lagos.
Ali was not personally present at the awards ceremony, organised by the Aikhoje Ojeikere-led League Bloggers Awards, but he was represented by Chief Coach of the NPL champions, Baba Gagaru, who received the award oh his behalf.
Ganaru himself also won the Manager of the season in the awards night dominated by Pillars, while Victor Namo of Nasarawa United received the Highest Goal Scorer award, having scored 19 goals in the recently concluded season.
