Prophet Adebisi Boys Ready For Extra Joss Tourney

The players and officials of Champions of Fire Football Club are ready for their campaign in this year’s Extra Joss football competition.
The Champions of Fire Football Club, which is sponsored by the Christ Miracle Church Ministry, CMCM, would kick off the tournament on Monday, 25 November, 2013, with an opening match against the Amazing Grace Football team at Jalisco Stadium in Oshodi, Lagos State.
Coach of Champions of Fire Football Club, Henry Amatokwu told that the team rounded off their training for the match at the weekend, saying they a battle ready to feature in the championship.
Coach Amatokwu said their number one fan and sponsor, Prophet Abiola Adebisi has supported the team so much that the players cannot disappoint the church and other followers.
The Coach showered praises on Prophet Adebisi for using his ministry to discover and nurture thousands of destinies.
While addressing the team, Coach Amatokwu admonished the players to be serious with the match, and urged them to use the tournament to launch their careers.
“I want you players to learn from the example of Golden Eaglets goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu, who won the U-17 World Cup with the Nigerian team recently. Alampasu came out from this CMCM football club, and he is now a testimony to the blessings that many youths have benefitted from our church”, Amatokwu said.
Captain of the club, Shola Akinlolu said; “This is the first time we are taking part in this particular competition, and we players have resolved to represent CMCM as good ambassadors of the Church. The Prophet has spent a lot to keep us together, so this is our own opportunity to pay back by playing well to raise the name of CMCM.
“And, about our first opponents, Amazng Grcace FC, the same club beat us in the quarter final of Boska Cup in 2010. We ended the match 2-2, but Amazing defeated us 5-4 via penalty shootouts, but we will not lose to them this time.
Goalkeeper Joseph Bernard, defenders Tope Jimoh and Ashade Gainiyu are among the players who will represent the Champions of Fire Football Club in the Extra Joss Cup tournament.
