Osaze Odemwingie stands out among the Nigerian players I like, he is my role model. Osaze is a fighter any day and I will like to be like him.

I love jersey number 19 because it gives me luck.

Yellow is the colour now, up Crown FC.

Embarrassing moment you’ve experienced?
That was in 2011 when I lost a penalty kick against Zamfara United in Kano, it was as if the ground should open up and I run in to save my face.

Brand of first boot?
The first brand of boot I bought was Nike.

How much did you earn on your first time as a professional player?
I can’t forget the amount, it was N18,000… (Daniel recalls with round of laughter). Yes, that was in Oyo State.

Most disappointing moment as a player?
My most disappointing moment as a player was when we played a barren draw at home to Enyimba International FC of Aba in a Glo NPL Matchday 30 at Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan on 5 October, 2014. I was just dazed that we failed to score and I didn’t like myself after the match.

If you had N20 million to spend, what is the first thing you’ll buy?
Ha! That’s a big one, I will buy shares in reputable companies.

What other sports do you do?
I like playing Basketball and Table Tennis whenever I’m free from football engagements.
