Pillars Drub 3SC, Kwara United Lose To Wikki In Ilorin

Kano Pillars again showed the champions stuff on Sunday as they handed visiting Shooting Stars Sports Club, 3SC, of Ibadan 4-1 on Match Day 23 in Kano.

3SC, who were down by two goals in the first half failed to hold their own as Edjomariegwe scored the third goal from Rabiu Ali’s pass in the second half.

Rabiu Ali himself moved ahead to nail 3SC’s coffin with a supreme finish to give the home side a convincing victory.

The match was almost ending before Ajani Ibrahim pulled one back for the Ibadan team.

In Ilorin, Kwara United lost their home match by a lone goal to visiting Wikki Tourists of Bauchi when Obaje’s 73rd minute effort beat United goalkeeper.

In the other matches, Lobi Stars defeated FC Taraba 2-1, Nasarawa United beat Heartland 2-0, Akwa United handed a 3-1 defeat to Sharks, while Rangers lost by 2-3 to FC Ifeanyi Ubah.

Prince Aggreh grabbed a hat-trick in Akure, as Sunshine Stars walloped Giwa FC 4-0, and Warri Wolves beat Dolphins by a lone goal.

Earlier on Saturday, Bayelsa United again played a 1-1 draw with Enyimba of Aba while Abia Warriors defeated El-Kanemi Warriors by a lone goal.
