Your ever refreshing eyeonthesports.com, Nigeria’s Authoritative Online Sports Newspaper has added another feather to its cap, as the e-sports paper will soon begin the publication of Sports Tonic, a column to be anchored by former Nigerian international, Peter Ijeh.
Ijeh, who was appointed the new Chief Coach Of Swedish Division 2 Club, Assyrian BK last week, says he is committed to the growth of sports in Nigeria, and has accepted to join our hard working team of writers.
“Writing for eyeonthesports.com won’t be a bad idea. I have observed the steady progress that your website has made within a short period, and I will be glad to join hands with the crew to expand its reach”, Ijeh told our Managing Editor, Tunde Oyedele when we approached him on the project.
Ijeh, a UEFA Licenced Grade A Coach, recently took a bold step into coaching after his successful football career as an international player.
Before his present coaching job at Assyrian BK, Ijeh played for top Nigerian teams; Nitel FC and Julius Berger FC both of Lagos, and also starred for top division clubs in Sweden, Denmark and Norway.
Ijeh attended the Gothenburg University, where he graduated as a BSC holder in Sociology, before acquiring his UEFA Grade A coaching licence.
