Osho Blames Supreme Court Draw On Bad Pitch

After his side, Supreme Court FC of Abuja were held to a goalless draw by visiting Niger Tornadoes, Technical Adviser, Fatai Osho has attributed the outcome of the game to the poor state of the pitch.
Coach Osho who took charge of the team less than two weeks ago noted that the various professional trainings which the players are being exposed to cannot yield expected result on bad football pitch.
The Apex Boys had all their training session at the synthetic turf located at Area 3 playing ground with the intention of hosting their opponents on same pitch but were asked to relocate to natural Old Parade Ground in Area 10 few hours to Sunday’s match against Niger Tornadoes.
Coach Osho remarked “there is no how my players could carry out what they have been taught on a pitch such as the one they played on. what we have started doing with them is trying to teach them how to play professionally”.
“I was surprised when we were told that our match will no longer be at Area 3 where we trained throughout the week having in mind and information that we will play there.
On the purported missed scoring chances by his wards, the former Kogi Utd gaffer added “yes they missed scoring chances but that is not to say that they can’t score from several angles as they were taught”.
With 23 points already secured, the Abuja-based club next face Sokoto FC on Saturday in Sokoto.
