Onazi’s Heart At Liverpool!

Super Eagles and Lazio of Italy midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has told his close friends he could sign to play for Liverpool in two months time.
The ‘Synagogue Boy’, as Onazi is popularly known, said he could be open to join the Merseyside in the January transfer window, though there are reported interests from Everton and Fiorentina.
The 20-year-old has continued to impress in the Serie A this season, and has attracted interests from Liverpool and other top clubs in Europe.
Onazi moved to Lazio from My People Football Club, an academy sponsored by Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations.
He played for Nigeria’s Super Eagles against Italy in an international friendly match at Craven Cottage in London on Monday.
He was also instrumental to Nigeria’s qualification for the Brazil 2014 World Cup, following Super Eagles’ home and away victories against the Wayla Antelopes of Ethiopia during their final qualifying games.
Reports have it that Liverpool scouts were present to watch Onazi in London. He has been a regular player in the Eagles since Keshi took over the team from former Coach, Samson Siasia.
It would be recalled that Everton were close to landing Onazi during the summer transfer window, when they needed to produce €5.5m to get him from Lazio, but the deal fell through.
