Chairman of Prime Football Club, Chief Taiwo Ogunjobi, has congratulated Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan and Gabros International Football Club of Nnewi, for their return to the Nigeria Premier League, NPL.
Shooting Stars and Gabros FC finished the season with 50 points apiece from 30 matches with 3SC topping Group B of the Nigeria National League, NNL, with superior goal advantage.
In a press statement signed by Ogunjobi, the former boss of both clubs, said the teams deserved their promotion tickets going by their outstanding soccer display in the just concluded NNL season.
He further charged both teams to re-enact the performance that earn them promotion tickets to the elite league.
“I would like to congratulate Shooting Stars and Gabros, their chairmen, General Managers, technical staff, players and supporters for winning promotion tickets to compete in the 2014/2015 Globacom Premier League season. I must applaud them for putting spirited performances towards securing their promotion”, Ogunjobi said.
“I will implore Shooting Stars and Gabros to re-enact the performance they put up in the just concluded season when they begin their campin the Premier League next season, so that they can make meaningful impacts in the elite league, the Pillar of Sports in the State of Osun said.
