.Face Mexico In The Final On Friday, A Mouth-Watering Re-Match

Nigeria’s Golden Eaglets will be chasing a 4th Cadet title in Friday’s final when they clash with defending champions, Mexico, whom they defeated 6-1 in an opening group match of their U-17 World Cup.
Taiwo Awoniyi scored in the 21st minute to open scoring in the semi final against Sweden on Tuesday, before Samuel Okon netted an 80th minute goal before Ezeh’s third goal secured the final ticket for the Nigerian team.
Nigerian goalkeeper, Dele Alampasu did a yeoman’s job in the semi final game, as he stopped several goal scoring chances created by the Swedes.
Meanwhile, defending champions Mexico continued their miraculous recovery in UAE by beating nine-man Argentina 3-0 in Abu Dhabi to book their place in the final against Nigeria. The semi-final from the Mohammad Bin Zayed Stadium was dominated by El Tri, who took full advantage of set pieces and got two goals from Ivan Ochoa.
