The dust is yet to settle on the national embarrassment caused Nigeria by Vice President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Chief Mike Umeh and Secretary of the football house, Musa Amadu during the final of this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup in UAE.
It was gathered that Umeh fumed at Amadu, requesting to know why he was not given one of the 20 VIP tickets allocated to Nigeria, and he verbally attacked Musa and called him names.
The NFF scribe, Amadu also hit back at his boss, saying that he was “useless”, saying that Umeh was an idiot.
However, President of NFF, Alhaji Aminu Maigari said the action of both officials was a disgrace to the nation, adding that he was embarrassed and disappointed in their show of shame.
Maigari says the soccer house must probe the incident, which was first reported by Vanguard Newspaper.
