New Year Resolution Special

.Peter Ijeh’s Candid Advise For You In 2014 –

It’s quite exciting to present my first column of 2014, and welcomes you all into a brand New Year and a New Resolution.
“Make New Year’s goals. Dig within, and discover what you would like to happen in your life this year. This will help you to do your part, and that’s an affirmation that you’re interested in living life to the fullest in the years to come.
Goals give us direction. They put a powerful force into play on a universal, conscious, and subconscious level. Goals give our life direction.
What would you like to happen in your life this year? What would you like to do, to accomplish? What good would you like to attract into your life? What particular areas of growth would you like to happen to you? What blocks, or character defects, would you like to have removed?
What would you like to attain? Little things and big things? Where would you like to go? What would you like to happen in friendship and love? What would you like to happen in your family life?
What problems would you like to see solved? What decisions would you like to make? What would you like to happen in your career?
At this juncture, take a piece of paper, spend a few hours of your time and write them all down. Remember this is an affirmation of you, your life, and your ability to choose. Then let it go.
Interestingly, ‘the New Year stands before us, like a chapter in a book, waiting to be written. We can help write that story by setting our goals.’
“As we open the book, we observe that its pages are blank. So, we are going to put words on them ourselves. The book I’m talking about is called an ‘Opportunity’ and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.”
This is our prayers for you in 2014 from the eyeonthesports crew;
“May Light always surrounds you;
Hope kindle and rebound you.
May your Hurts turn to Healings;
Your Heart embrace Feeling.
May Wounds become Wisdom;
Every Kindness a Prism.
May Laughter infects you;
Your Passion resurrects you.
May Goodness inspire
your Deepest Desires.
Through all that you Reach For,
May your arms Never get Tired.”
We urge you to enter in your year of surplus.
And from me your anchor-man on this column, my advise for you is to remember to do some sports and poke-in some goals as you do always.
Hope you enjoyed New Year this edition? Join me again in a fortnight and till then, have a blissful celebration.
