NECO Releases 2015 Results

.Only 16 Per Cent Pass English & Maths, 69 Per Cent Score More Than 5 Credits –

Report from the National Examination Council (NECO) says the June/July 2015 results have been released, with 68.56 per cent of candidates scoring more than five credits.

Prof. Abdulrashid Garba, NECO’s registrar, said the result showed 16 per cent of the candidates, more than last year, passed credits in English and Mathematics.

Garba said this year’s result bettered that of 2014, with only 52.29 scoring above five credits.

He said 969,491 out of 969,991 candidates, who registered for the exam actually sat for it.

According to Garba, the examination recorded 0.11 per cent cases of malpractices, while some schools were de-listed for aiding cheating by candidates.

He said the release of the result complied with the 60 days period the examination body promised it would do so.
