Reports reaching eyeonthesports.com say the 2013/2014 Nigeria National League, NNL season will begin on 6 November with new innovations.
This follows a successful conclusion of the 2012/2013 football season which
witnessed a lot of high points. The Executive Board of the Nigeria
National League, led by Chief Emeka Inyama, said the new season will commence with a pre-season seminar, being organized for club officials and stakeholders before the kick off date.
Inyama, disclosed that the resumption of the league has become imperative in order to ensure the early conclusion of the football season.
Inyama, who is also an Executive Board Member of the Nigeria Football
Federation, NFF, revealed that the league will see an improvement in
organization, management and prosecution of the competition because of
the many innovations to be introduced in the new season.
According to him, “club officials and other stakeholders will converge for a seminar before the kickoff of the league so that they will be educated on how best to make the league meet the expectations of the board”.
The former Abia State Sports Commissioner also disclosed that every efforts will be made to ensure that the Nigeria National League is attractive to sponsors just as he urged all the teams that will participate in the league to strictly adhere to the rules and regulations guiding the competition.
