Musa’s N5bn Leicester Deal

.Kano Pillars Miss Out In Financial Windfall –

Nigeria’s Professional Football League club, Kano Pillars will not get a dime from the reported £16 Million, about 5.87 billion Naira paid by English Premier League champions, Leicester City to Russian club CSKA Moscow for the acquisition of striker Ahmed Musa.

Musa left after his first season with Kano Pillars in 2010 to Dutch side, VVV Venlo for an undisclosed fee with the Nigerian club getting the transfer fee.

But, the team did not insert any sell-on condition during the contract negotiations that could have made them benefit in his future transfers.
