Mosan Okunola Down Apapa Iganmu

.In Lagos Junior League Rescheduled Match –

The rescheduled Week 13 Lagos Junior League, LJL, Premier League match between Apapa Iganmu and Mosan Okunola proved too hot to handle for the Apapa side, as they were beaten 3-2 last weekend.
It took just six minutes for the Mosan boys to begin inflicting fatal blows against their opponents, with Williams Ukeme scoring in the 23rd minute.
Lasisi Gafar doubled the lead a minute later while Omoyele Tosin slotted in the third in the 26th minute. After the restart Apapa Iganmu tried to undo the horrendous six first half minutes, they pulled one back in the 52nd minute through Emmanuel Omowaye.
They were however fortunate in the 65th minute when sloppy defending afforded Folunsho Sesan a chance which he duly converted to bring his side back into the fray.
Apapa Iganmu’s search for an equalizer proved abortive as they were made to pay for their six minutes nap.
In League 1, Ojodu Fc still lead the pack after their demolition of Eredo on Sunday afternoon.
This week will see the resumption of the LJL Premier League matches after a two-week break.
