Man. United Hold Tight To Van Persie, Kagawa

Robin van Persie and Shinji Kagawa will not be among the Manchester United players leaving Old Trafford in the New Year sales, reports the Daily Mail.
Manager David Moyes is keen to keep his front five; Van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez and Kagawa for rest of the season so United can launch challenge on four fronts.
And he has ruled out joining the chase for Monaco’s highly-rated Colombia striker Radamel Falcao.
However, two new top-class midfielders remain the priority at Old Trafford.
Moyes said: “I would not say we are in desperate need of an out-and-out centre-forward. We have got Robin van Persie, Wayne Rooney, Chicharito (Hernandez), Danny Welbeck. Shinji can play in behind as well, we are covered.
“It is easy for people to throw names up, but when they look at it more closely you might say it wasn’t that good a suggestion”.
Luis Suarez and Sergio Aguero have excelled this season but Moyes insisted: “Van Persie is a mark for anyone. Wayne Rooney with his form this season has been a mark”.
