Lagos Junior League Set Onikan, Agege Aglow

As the 2013/2014 Lagos Junior League, LJL, Premier League enters its third week, football fans are set to enjoy the best of youth football at the Onikan Stadium, Legacy Pitch at the National Stadium in Surulere, Agege Stadium and other stadia across the state.
Top on the list of matches fixed for Saturday, 26 October is the encounter slated for the Strong Tower between the 2012/2013 Season League 1 champions, Kosofe Football Club and Surulere Sport City FC.
Kosofe are not intimidated by the class in the Premier League, as they sit in the second position behind Surulere on goals difference. The lads from Surulere seems to have put their last season’s uninspiring performance firmly behind them, and getting set to face the litmus test against fellow table toppers, Kosofe.
Also, the team from Mushi will trade tackles with Eti Osa East at the LASU playing ground, Oriade will host Apapa Iganmu at Agege Stadium, Mosan Okunola will engage Apapa Golden Stars at the Alade pitch, Itire Ikate will face Lagos Island East in Epe, while Ajeromi Ifelodun Young Stars and Lagos Island, popularly known as Eko Akete FC tango in the last match of Saturday at the Legacy Pitch.
On Sunday, 27 October, the Onikan Stadium will be the venue to be when Onigbongbo Host Oshodi Isolo, Lagos Mainland play their away game against Odi Olowo at Alade playing ground, Ifako Ijaiye FC host Imota at LASU, while the encounter between Agege Giants and Ojo is slated for the Legacy Pitch at the National Stadium in Surulere.
Meanwhile, the League 1 of the Lagos Junior League will kick off on Wednesday 23 October at the Legacy Pitch in Surulere, Lagos.
Relegated side Bariga FC will be out for redemption as they take on newly promoted side Ikosi Isheri FC in an opening match.
