Kelly Urges Fans To Give Nasarawa Time

Nasarawa United FC star, Kelly Kester has sued for patience from the club’s supporters as the team tries to get its footing in this season’s Glo Premier League.
The Solid Miners narrowly missed out on a continental place on the final day of last season but have won just one out of their first three games this season leaving them with three points from as many games.
The victory over Wikki Tourists was sandwiched in between the opening day loss at El-Kanemi Warriors and a 5-2 reversal at Heartland in the highest-scoring game of the season so far.
Fans of the team may well have every right to be disappointed after approaching the season with high expectations but the former Sharks midfielder Kester believes they will come good with time.
Kester who featured in the team’s first two games but was an unused substitute in that heavy loss in Owerri also informed www.npfl.ng that the players are also not comfortable with the poor start to the season and are eager to start churning out good performances.
“We have had a shaky start no doubt but I believe we have a good team to compete well this season. The management signed more quality players to beef up the existing ones and I believe that, with time and when we blend fully, it will make an unbeatable team,” argued the leggy midfielder with a measure of confidence that can assuage the restive fans.
