Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan Were forced to a 2-2 draw by visiting Ifeanyi Ubah FC of Anambra State in a Nigeria Pro-Football League, NPFL match at Adamasingba Stadium.
The Match Day 24, which was watched by a full capacity Stadium had in attendance the Nigerian Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick, His Royal Highness, Oba Saliu Adetunji and his wife, the Honourable Commissioner For Youth & Sports, Mr. Yomi Oke, Capital Oil boss Chief Ifeanyi Ubah and former Golden Eaglets Coach Fanny Amu amongst others.
The match started on a fast note, with 33SC taking the initiatives and were rewarded with a goal in the 10th minute through Ebitimi Agogo, following a defence splitting pass from Salawu Ibrahim.
The scoreline was 1-0 in favour of 3SC as at half time.
On resumption of play for the second half, the hosts lost a couple of glaring chances, which allowed the visitors to bounce back in the game.
However, in the 36th minute, substitute Afolabi Wahab increased the tally for 3SC from another Ibrahim Salawu’s pass.
Dramatically, the visitors came back to score two goals in quick succession, one from a penalty in the 83rd minute through substitute Tamen Medrano, which was immediately followed by Ajunwa Onyebuchi in the 85th minute.
