Ifako Ijaiye Host Mosan Okunola, As Lagos Junior League Hots Up

Week 7 was the lowest scoring week since the commencement of this current Lagos Junior League, LJL, season with just 23 goals.
Despite the last weeks goal scarcity the Premier League has posted an impressive average of 3.04 goals per match with 207 goals scored in just 68 games.
In as much as the goal average points to an effective strikers and supportive midfielders, it can also be interpreted to mean leaky defence play by the teams.
Although the League can boast of producing effective defenders that have conquered at the National level it is not out of place to say the participating teams need to shore up their leaky back lines, but everyone loves a football match with lots of goals.
However, Ifako Ijaiye Football Club will be hoping to continue their winning streak when they play away to Mosan Okunola this weekend.
The Mafe boys have been unimpressive this season and have lost their last two matches in dastardly fashion.
Ajeromi Ifelodun’s baptism of fire in the hands of Surulere last week left a sour taste in the mouths of the ‘Ajegunlerians’ and will likely continue this week when they take on a ravenous Eti Osa East except drastic changes are made.
League leaders Surulere Sport City FC need to overcome a nonchalant Odi Olowo Ojuwoye if they intend to remain at the summit at least for another week.
In other matches,Itire Ikate host Onigbongbo, while the Island boys face off as Lagos Island East take on Lagos Island.
Oriade face inform Agege while Apapa Iganmu and Imota square it out.
Mushin will try their luck against well rested Ojo FC while Kosofe will want to continue their winning form when they host Oshodi Isolo.
