Giwa-Led NFF Sacks League Company

Reports from the embattled Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on Monday say a faction led by Giwa has suspended the League Management Company, LMC.
The action coincidentally comes on same deadline date that world football governing body, FIFA gave to the NFF to put its house in order or get an indefinite ban from international football.
It would be recalled that the other faction of the NFF, which is recognised by FIFA, is expected to hold fresh elections on Thursday,
4 September, 2014, to usher in new executives for the body.
