Flying Eagles Beckon On Lesotho

Flying Eagles have said they are ready to take on surprise team Lesotho in the final round of qualifiers for the 2015 AYC in Senegal.
Nigeria will host the Southern Africans on 16 August in a first leg clash with the return slated for Lesotho two weeks later.
The Nigeria U-20 side stopped Tanzania 6-1 on aggregate, while Lesotho edged past much-fancied Angola 4-1 after two legs.
“Lesotho are a bit of a surprise because Angola are better known for their football,” said Flying Eagles defender Wilfred Ndidi.
“But all the same, we will not relax and take Lesotho for granted. We are ready for them.”
Coach Manu Garba said playing at home first will not affect his team.
“All matches are the same depending on how you approach them,” the Flying Eagles coach said.
“See the case of Morocco and Togo, where Morocco won in Togo and Togo won in Morocco to qualify for the next round.
“There no longer pushovers in the game and so we cannot afford to be complacent. We have to be up and doing in all our matches.
“We have to make sure we win big at home and not concede any goal as we are playing the first game here.”
