First NNL Transfer Window Opens Monday

After nearly two months of mixed fortunes for the clubs participating in the Nigeria National League, NNL, there will be another opportunity for struggling teams to fortify their squad for the greater task ahead as the transfer window will open from next Monday, 24March, 2014.
The league organizers have announced that clubs will have the chance to recruit fresh legs to brighten their chances of escaping relegation or picking one of the four tickets to play in the Nigeria Premier League NPL next season.
According to the time table earlier released by NNL at the start of the current league season, the first transfer window will open on Monday, 24 March, 2014 and close on the midnight of Friday, 4 April, 2014.
Meanwhile, Wikki Tourists will try to maintain their hold at the top by beating visiting TEAP FC this weekend just as Prime FC will tackle Mountain of Fire Ministries, MFM, in what looks like tough duel by the two South Western clubs chasing the top spot.
But Division B leader, Gabros of Nnewi will wait until Friday night to discover if they will still be on top above the likes of Prime and Shooting Stars as well as First Bank, Ekiti and Abia Comets. The trio have equal chances to go top.
There will be many other tough encounters across the country this weekend and this will give football fans ample opportunities to go out to savor good skills.
