First Bank Football Club of Lagos at the weekend walloped visiting Remo Stars by three goals to nil just as Abubakar Bukola Saraki, ABS, Football Club continued their good run by beating Rivers State-based Go-Round FC by a lone goal to pick the three full points in their respective Nigeria National league, NNL matches.
The other big win at the weekend include the 3-2 win of DSS in Kaduna over Nigerian Prisons and the heartwarming victory in Ado Ekiti, where the newly formed Ekiti United FC beat Prime FC 2-0 while high flying Gabros International humbled Bendel Insurance of Benin City 1-0.
Elsewhere, Mountain of Fire and Miracle, MFM Football Club hammered visiting Abia Comets 4-2 to pick the three full points in the NNL.
Also in Ilorin, Kwara United made good their boast to defeat old enemies, Niger Tornadoes by 2-0, even as Kogi United and Shooting Stars of Ibadan defeated the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC and Gateway FC of Abeokuta respectively.
