Fans To Enjoy Lagos Junior League Games

This weekend in the Lagos Junior League, LJL, Premier League offers the fans a host of scintillating matches, especially the face off between third placed team, Surulere Fc and seventh placed Mosan Okunola FC.
The Mosan boys have the potential to derail Surulere’s title aspirations but will need to put up their best performance of the season if they are to stop the in-form Sport City team at the Legacy Pitch inside the National Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The encounter between Lagos Island and second placed Ojo Y.M.D Babes is another mouth watering match. Lagos Island have a reputation of causing major upsets when playing against top ranked teams and anything is possible when they host the high flying Ojo who have recorded eleven victories, two draws and only one loss all season. Agege stadium will play host to this epic encounter on Saturday Afternoon.
In the other matches Lagos Island East will look to contain Agege Giants, while Apapa Iganmu will try to stop their free fall when they face Onigbongbo Ultimate Strikers.
Mushin Bombers also take on Ajeromi Ifelodun and League leaders Apapa host Odi Olowo.
League 1 began their week 15 matches on Wednesday with League leaders, Ojodu FC shooting themselves at the foot when they were held to a 1-1 draw against an unlikely Ikosi Isheri side. The chasing pack of Ibeju Lekki, Egbe Idimu, Orile Agege and Lekki FC now have enough chance to leapfrog the current leaders. In the mid-week matches played, Shomolu FC defeated Yaba 1-0, while Bariga ran over Agboyi Ketu 3-0.
In this weekend’s League 1 matches, Orile Agege take on Lekki Fc in a must-watch encounter, while Egbe Idimu take on easy Ikorodu Central.
Agbado Oke Odo will try to contain the rampant Ibeju Lekki at LASU on Sunday afternoon, while Ayobo Ipaja and Eredo will tango at the Alade Stadium.
