Enyimba Crash Out Of Champions League

Nigeria’s Enyimba have crashed out of the 2014 CAF Champions League on the away goals’ rule after they beat AS Real Bamako 1-0 in Mali Saturday.
Enyimba lost the first leg at home in Aba 2-1 for AS Real Bamako to advance on the away goals’ rule after aggregate scores stood at 2-2 in this first round clash.
Defender Bala Zaka raised the hope of the Nigeria team when he scored in the first half, but all the efforts to get the second goal to advance to next stage by Enyimba proved abortive as AS Real Bamako defence remained resolute.
Nigeria champions Kano Pillars also crashed out of the same competition in the preliminary round.
