Enyeama Keeps Clean Sheets For French Club

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama is justifying his number one position at his French League 1 club, Lille, as he has kept 10 clean sheets in the on-going league season.
Enyeama was at his best when he guarded Lille Football Club to defeat former club of Victor Ikpeba, AS Monaco 2-0 in a Ligue 1 match Sunday night.
Enyeama, who won the CAF Champions League crown with his former Nigeria Premier League Club, Enyimba International of Aba, made heart warming saves in the game against Monaco, that paraded top forward stars including Colombian player, Radamel Falcao.
The victory takes Lille up to the second position on the Ligue 1 table, as Enyeama’s team are just two points adrift of the league leaders, Paris Saint Germain, PSG.
This season, Enyeama has done a yeoman’s job in their Ligue 1 games against Lorient, Saint-Etienne, Rennes, Sochaux, Evian, Lyon, Ajaccio, Montpellier, Nantes and AS Monaco, and he is good to do more the French club.
Enyeama, who has been Nigeria’s first choice goalkeeper for about a decade now, was included in the 25-man list of players that Coach Stephen Keshi released on Sunday, ahead of next month’s FIFA World Cup final leg qualifying match against the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia in Calabar.
