The newly reconstituted board of Ekiti United football club has concluded arrangement to announce the technical crew for the club.
In a press statement by spokesperson of the club, Toyin Ayoola, the board which was constituted last Wednesday by Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose has been meeting since then to finalize arrangements on how to ensure the smooth take off of the team in the coming season.
Consequent upon this, interested coaches and other football administrators have been making last minute moves to put pen on paper for the team which is now enjoying the full support of Governor Ayo Fayose.
Chairperson of Ekiti United Football Club, Mrs Olufunmilayo Adeyinka-Adefemi, says merit takes priority position in whatever decision the board is taking.
She advised anyone seeking one position or the other to go through the right channel, as the club will ensure transparency and accountability in all its dealings.
The statement goes further to say that training for the new season will soon begin, while former players and officials of the club, who are still in procession of the club’s property have been told to submit them immediately.
