Ekiti United Beat Crown 2-1 In National League Match

NATIONAL LEAGUE: Goals from Toba Oguntuase and Monsuru Adio were enough to secure maximum points for Ekiti United Football club as they defeated Crown Football Club of Ogbomosho 2-1 in a Nigeria National League, NNL Match Day 4 tie on Saturday.

The explosive encounter, played at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti, saw the home side scoring barely ten minutes, but Crown FC responded when Harrison Egbune restored parity before half time break.

With the second half starting at 1-1 scoreline, a recharged Ekiti United came back stronger into the game and pushed forward to score their winning goal to send their teeming fans into jubilation.

However, the visitors who were forced to play a defensive game towards end of the match went home disappointed.
