EFCC Arraigns Nyako, Son For Money Laundering

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, is set to arraign former Adamawa state governor Murtala Nyako and his son, Senator Abdul-aziz Nyako at the Federal High Court, Abuja.

They are to be arraigned before Justice Evoh Chukwu for money laundering and theft.

The Nyakos are charged with laundering state funds through companies they owned.

The accused are facing 37 counts of money laundering and have made made no-guilty plea to 17 of the charges.
