Eduok Scores First League Goal For Esperance

Former Dolphins of Port Harcourt star Emem Eduok has opened his goal scoring account in the League with his Tunisian club, Esperance as he netted the only goal in Wednesday’s League 1-0 win over Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise (JSK).

Eduok obviously has since gotten behind the transfer controversies that greeted his move to the North African country as he found the back of the net in the 78th minute in the League to register what would be his first competitive goal, though he has scored as much as four goals (including a hat-trick) in test matches.

The Nigeria international is already playing his way into the heart of Esperance fans who cheered him for giving them the maximum points in the testy league encounter.

Courtesy of the three points helped secured by Eduok, Espérance are now fourth in Tunisia’s Ligue 1 with 31 points behind Club Sportif Sfaxien (32 pts), Etoile Sportive du Sahel (34 pts) and Club Africain (39 pts).
