Eagles Off To South Africa On Chattered Flight

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has provided the Super Eagles with a chartered aircraft to fly to South Africa for Sunday’s international friendly against the Bafana Bafana in Nelspruit.
Officials confirmed on Thursday that the delegation, which will be led by Chairman of the NFF Technical and Development Committee, Felix Anyansi-Agwu, will depart from the Ibom International Airport, Uyo before midnight on Friday and fly direct to Nelspruit.
NFF Deputy General Secretary, Dr. Emmanuel Ikpeme will also join players and officials on the ARIK Air’s CRJ 900 plane.
NFF President Amaju Pinnick has made it clear to the team to redeem its image somewhat by winning in Nelspruit.
Sunday’s match at the Mbombela Stadium, venue of two of the Super Eagles’ matches on the way to triumph at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, will begin at 4pm South Africa time (3pm Nigeria time).
