
The Super Eagles are to regroup in Calabar, Cross River State as their camp will be opened on Monday, 11 November, 2013, with almost all the players expected latest by Tuesday Morning, according to the team’s Scribe, Dayo Enebi Achor.
Earlier, Cross River State Sports Commissioner, Hon Patrick Ugbe, has revealed that all necessary logistics have been put in place for a fruitful camping of the national team, who take on the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia on Saturday, 16 November.
“On our part we are serious and ready for the national teams always because we are used to them and they are used to us. We expect nothing but victory and we know the team are up to it”, Ugbe said on return from UAE, where he had gone to cheer the Golden Eaglets to victory.
Achor on his part says he expects training to start on Tuesday morning, depending on the arrival schedule of most of the players. He added that by their plans, the Eagles will have a healthy training schedule before the game.
“The team will be ready, healthy and well ahead of the battle for the ticket to Brazil 2014. That will be seen on Saturday at the U.J Esuene Stadium”, Achor quoted Keshi as saying at the weekend.
