Eagles In Jacksonville For USA Clash

The Super Eagles arrived in Jacksonville, Florida from their Philadelphia base on Wednesday evening as preparations continues for the World Cup, with a scheduled friendly against the United States on Saturday.
The team are quartered at the exquisite Hyatt Hotel overlooking the city’s river and about 20 minutes drive from where the team had their first training session on Thursday morning; the Jacksonville United FC training pitch.
The session, which was hectic as usual saw Ahmed Musa and Elderson Echejile train on their own as they gradually recover from knocks they received in the friendly against Greece last Tuesday.
Echejile is due for scan on his thigh muscle later Thursday. Team doctor, Ibrahim Gyaran said it was important to do the scan to know the injury level but he does not foresee a serious injury.
