Dolphins Resume For New Season

Reports from the Garden City say players and officials of Dolphins Football Club will resume for the 2013/14 Nigeria Professional Football League season on Saturday, 11 January, 2014.
Dolphins Chief Coach, Stanley Eguma has directed that all new and returning players turn up by weekend as training resumes in earnest on Monday.
“Already, 21 of the 35 players who wore the club’s jerseys last season will be part of the set up for the coming season”, China Acheru, the Media Officer said.
According to Acheru, the returning players are; Fred Okwara, Ifeanyi Egwim and the captain, goalkeeper Sunday Rotimi.
The other players are Emem Eduok, Isiaka Olawale, Omo Johnson, Naseem Aboutreika, Emeka Atuloma, Olewezi Johnson and Derek Amadi.
Also, 17-year old Daniel Israel, Festus Austin, Victor Ezuruike, Baker Ebimaowei, Joseph DaoHadji, Chizoba Amaefule, Chidiebere Okolie and Austin Brown would resume with the team.
Osaro Nwafor, Monday Finma and Eze Chidiebere complete the list of the returning players.
Meanwhile, Acheru hinted that a list of newly recruited players to the fold will be made available to the media in due course.
