.As Sharapova Cruises To Women’s Final –

Britain’s Andy Murray missed out on a place in the China Open final as he lost 6-3 6-4 to Novak Djokovic.
Defending champion and world number one Djokovic claimed the key break of serve in the eighth game in Beijing.
He started the second set with another break and, although the Scot rallied, Djokovic wrapped up his 23rd consecutive win in the tournament.
The Serb will meet Tomas Berdych, who beat Rafael Nadal’s conqueror Martin Klizan 6-4 6-1.
Murray, who has never beaten 27-year-old Djokovic after losing the first set, recovered from losing his serve again at the start of the second set by breaking back to level at 3-3.
However, four-time champion Djokovic forced the error to break once more and open up a 5-4 lead before sealing victory in an hour and 36 minutes.
Meanwhile, World number four Maria Sharapova reached the China Open final with a 6-0 6-4 win over Ana Ivanovic in Beijing.
The 27-year-old Russian, a beaten finalist in 2012, powered ahead by taking the first seven games.
Ivanovic began to find her touch in an entertaining second set but fourth seed Sharapova sealed victory in an hour and 28 minutes with her fourth match point.
She will play third seed Petra Kvitova on Sunday after the Czech player overcame Samantha Stosur 6-3 5-7 6-2.
