Crown FC May Boycott Resumption Deadline

Embattled Glo Premier League side, Crown FC players have vowed to defy Monday’s resumption date by their management.
A report by supersport.com says the Ogbomoso-based side are yet to officially resume from the mid-season break following players insistence of payment of their arrears of salaries.
The players were said to have come straight from their respective homes to honour Thursday’s Federation Cup round of 64 clash against hard fighting non-league side, Bright Stars FC winning 4-1 on penalties after regulation time score stood at 1-1 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
It was gathered that the players have unanimously agreed to disregard Monday’s resumption date rather to further press for the payment of their salaries.
“Right now we’re not sure whether we’ll honour the round of 32 game next week but what we’re certain as we speak is that we won’t resume camp on Monday as directed by the management.
