The management of Confluence Queens Football Club has declared 4 November, 2013 as take-off date for its open screening exercise in Lokoja.
The Lokoja-based Nigeria Women Professional League side also fixed Saturday 3, 2013 as the resumption date for the club’s officials and players.
The club’s spokesperson, Tosin Ojo, who conveyed the chairman, Mallam Abdul Adama’s approval for the exercise, quoted the Team Manager of the
side Owolabi David in a statement, while revealing the club’s activities for the season yesterday.
The management further advised returning players to be punctual and resume as scheduled, saying they will be screened along with the new ones.
According to the statement, the old players are to go straight to the camp, while the new will be received at the Lokoja Township stadium.
The screening exercise is part of the club’s preparation for the 2013/2014 maiden
Nigeria Elite Women League season.
