Chrisantus Moves To Turkish League

Former Nigeria youth international, Chrisantus Macauley has joined Turkey Super Lig club, Sivasspor.
The 23-year-old old joined from Spain’s second division side, Segunda Las Palmas where he scored 20 league goals in 67 league appearances between 2012 and 2014.
The deal which is a three-year contract was announced on the Sivasspor official website on Monday night.
Chrisantus came into prominence after he represented Nigeria at U-17 level at the 2007 FIFA World Cup where he scored seven goals and emerged as the competition’s top scorer.
He was also awarded the silver ball for finishing as the competition’s second best player.
He then moved to German club, SV Hamburg, but failed to hit the heights.
