It was another memorable time for the Super Eagles at the weekend, as former Rangers International of Enugu winger, Ejike Uzoenyi was finally ‘arrested’ by his beautiful sweetheart, Chioma Loveth Uzoenyi.
Uzoenyi, the Most Valuable Player, MVP of the last African Nations Championship, CHAN tourney held in South Africa, took his lovely heartthrob, Chioma to the alter at an impressive wedding ceremony at the Enugu State capital.
Uzoenyi who now plays for South Africa’s top side Memolodi Sundowns expressed his love for Chioma as he promised to spend the rest of his life with his new wife.
And as has become traditional with the NFF, the football federation was well represented by Chidi Nwantu, Dayo Enebi Achor, the national team administrator, Barr Okey Obi and national team coordinator and Emmanuel Atta.
“It was an impressive ceremony and the NFF will continue to support its players who want to move to the next level as this is the second wedding under a week and we are happy that our players are taking the responsibility route”, Achor quoted the NFF President, Melvin Amaju Pinnick as saying.
