
The newly appointed Technical Adviser of Crown Football Club, Hakeem Ishola Busari, 49, will lead the Ogbomoso soccer outfit in the week 30 of the Glo Nigerian Premier League match against the Elephant’s of Aba, Enyimba.
Busari, has since on Tuesday taken over the technical leadership of the team to replace the erstwhile handler, Lawrence Akpokona who held sway from November 2013 to September 2014.
Busari who holds a Bachelor of Science Degree of Lead City University flaunts a rich academic profile and football trainings including CAF “B” license, and until his appointment, he was the Permanent Coach, MTN Football Scholar and Technical Assistant, Kwara State Football Academy Ilorin.
The former Golden Eaglets Assistant Coach has won many laurels including a Premier League ticket for Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan and attained a quarter-final stage in the 2008/2009 National Challenge Cup.
Busari, as a young and vibrant coach has been saddled with the responsibility of salvaging the situation the club currently finds themselves with an impressive performances.
The new handler has also been charged to bring back the traditional sensation typical of Crown team as well as redeeming the image of the team in the football cycle and space in the country.
