The Executive Committee of Bola Ahmed Tinubu Estate Community Development Association (BATECDA), Odonla, Ikorodu, Lagos, has applauded and honoured some eminent persons for their contribution to the development of the area.

Chairman of BATECDA Udogaranya Chinedum, popularly known as Kizito, supervised events when the Committee presented Certificates of Recognition and Appreciation to those deserving on Sunday, 29 January, 2023.

The Social Secretary of BATECDA, Hon Ola Jacob, while speaking to eyeonthenews.com, said his group decided to appreciate distinguished persons such as Hon Adesesan Adekoya, Hon Muyideen Adeleye (Alata), Mr Sunday Adetunji, Mr. Olarewaju Olagunju of Branded Soccer Academy (Larry) and many others, for standing by the Executives during the past years.

According to Hon Jacob, the support of these persons towards the development of Tinubu Estate and its environs is unquantifiable.

“In view of this, we the Executives of BATECDA deemed it fit to honour the persons with Certificates of Recognition and Appreciation because they are always there for us morally, financially and physically during our programmes”, Hon Jacob told this newspaper.

Amongst the eminent persons who were presented with Certificates of Recognition and Appreciation included; Mr Olufemi Adekunle, Hon Lateef Falola, Mr S. Agunbiade, Mr Saliu, Hon Mrs Ogunbayo, Hon Clement Anietie, Hon Oluwole Osaile, Mr Damilola Arowolo, Mr Lekan Lion, Mr Demeji (Demmey), Alhaja M. O. Allinson, Pa Owei, Hon Aliyu Yusuf, Mr Adeniran Bamidele, Eng Sam, Mr Sylvester Joseph, Hon Soyinka (Iya show), Hon Kehinde Awodiya, Mr Bodunri Amusu, Mr Yakubu Almed (Sheriki) and Adekeye Rasheed the Chief Imam.

The other distinguished persons honoured by BATECDA are Mr Jubrin Kyari, incumbent President of BATECDA Sports Club, Prince Temitope Aladejobi, Hon Kayode Olusanya, Hon Kayode Olusanya, Mr Omotayo Aderibode, Mr John Ukor, Osheka Elijah (BATECDA Football Team Capital), Dr Muyiwa Oladele, Mr Wahab Ayilara, Mr Adedeji Adekoya, Chief Elvis Mehara, Hon Edward, Hon Mrs Kosemani, Dr Doyin Johnson, Prince Orimisan, Late Alhaji Dabiri (Boss Man), Pastor Adeola Orebajo and Pastor Adekunle Adewuga.
